Following on from its success last year the Waterfest will feature canoeing, SUPs, windsurfng and yachting.
From 4pm-7pm you can come and try paddling a kayak, balance on a SUP (stand up paddleboard), try windsurfing or sail a yacht on Lake Mulwala.
All equipment (sit on tops, paddles, life jackets etc) will be provided and activities will be supervised by Australian Canoeing accredited paddling instructors.
Teams of five are also invited to join in a fun and unique competitions, of Kayak Paddle Ball (like soccer but on the water).
This is a great chance for people of all ages to try out several Olympic sports in our own backyard.
There will be 30 minute sessions and the cost is just $5 per person or just $10 per family with all proceeds going toward bushfire relief.
The Yarrawonga Mulwala Canoe Club will also host their annual Murray River Classic Marathon event on Sunday, January 19 where many of the juniors will participate in the junior novice event.
