Whip our your flannel and comb your mullet, the Bogan Bingo Show is headed to the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort on March 24 to raise money for the 2017 Good Friday Appeal.
Yarrawonga mum Ash McKee is determined to have Yarrawonga feature strongly on the Good Friday Appeal tally board in 2017.
Ash and husband Daniel’s son Oliver was born in March last year with Amniotic Banding Syndrome, causing some initial health problems, and then four months later he suffered complications associated with fluid build-up on the brain.
What followed, and continues today, are many visits to the Royal Children’s Hospital for special care and treatment provided by the best doctors and health care professionals.
Oliver is doing well and Ashleigh and Daniel consider themselves very lucky.
And now they are determined to give back.
“Living in a small community, talking to other mums and ‘friends of friends’, you don’t actually realise how many families are travelling down to RCH for specialist medical appointments for their children,” Ashleigh said.
“It felt only right that we could give back to this amazing hospital and cause by starting up a fundraising campaign with all the money raised going to the 2017 Good Friday Appeal.”
Ashleigh has already begun the campaign and the fun continues on Friday, March 24 with The Bogan Bingo Show at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort.
Enjoy a great night of fun billed as ‘half game show, half party’ while knowing you are raising money for a great cause.
The show is from 6.30pm to 11pm with entertainment, food and happy hour.
Tickets are $50, but Early Birds who get in before Friday, March 17, will pay just $45.
