Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural Show President John Wright and Secretary Judy Cooper are thrilled they have been able to lock in Batman, Robin and the Batmobile for this year’s show.

This year’s Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural Show is shaping up to be an absolute bonanza with Show President John Wright announcing the signing of Batman, Robin and the original Batmobile as special guests.

To be held on Saturday, October 7 Batman and Robin will be patrolling the showgrounds, keeping law and order, while the Batmobile will be on display for kids, comic enthusiasts and lovers of George Clooney to grab a photo with.

“I think this will be a real drawcard,” John said.

“The Batmobile package also comes with a state of the art laser light show which will be something really special.

“We have such a big planning group this year with some new active members and we have already got some amazing activities and acts lined up.

“As well as the Batman spectacular we will also have Chris Humphrey and his wild animal zoo experience returning.

“He was the stand out act last year and by popular demand he is returning again this year.

“There will be fantastic entertainment from local artists and also Melbourne band the Twisted Willows.”

John said even though the Agricultural Show was still months away, the planning has already commenced and the committee are now calling for organisations and businesses to get behind this iconic rural event.

“If anyone wants to sponsor a competition or donate their time or just has an idea they want to put forward please come and talk to us,” he said.
