On Monday, April 10 the YMGCR hosted players from Wangaratta, Benalla, Wodonga, Echuca/Moama, Albury, Twin City and Numurkah for some competitive fun games of croquet at the club’s Social Day.
The winner for the day was Trevor Peters from Echuca/Moama Croquet Club with YMGCR member Stan Walker being the runner up. 
Four hoops in one were scored on the day with the final winner being YMGCR member Hope Attrill.  A raffle was run on the day and this was won by Roz Watson from Twin City Croquet Club.  
A most enjoyable and fun day was had by all who attended.
The Monthly Medal for March was played with the winner being Chris Lloyd and runner up Sheryl Sciberras.
The Monthly Medal Play Offs are scheduled to be played this Thursday, April 27 at 9.30am.
The YMGCR Croquet Club Championships for 2017 have been completed.
Winners of all divisions will be announced at the Annual General Meeting.
All members are reminded the AGM of the YMGCR Croquet Club will be held at 5pm on Tuesday, May 23 in the Willow Room at the YMGCR.
The AGM will be followed by dinner at the club; partners are welcome to attend, with dinner being at their own expense. 
Further in regard to the AGM, members are advised that nominations are now open for office bearers/committee members for the coming season.
Nominations forms for the various positions are available on the noticeboard at the clubrooms. Members are advised that nominations close on May, 9.
