Under 12s, Manchester City midfielder Ava Loughnan passes the ball forward.

Under 12s, Manchester United’s Lachie Bosch charges forward.

Under 12s, Manchester City player Logan Stone charges through the opposition.

The second round produced a beautiful morning for soccer and everyone involved had a terrific morning; parents were barracking loudly and enjoying their kids having fun.
The highlight of the day was watching the confidence that the novice players have developed even within a single week since they made their debuts. They are all prepared to run for the duration of the matches and their skills development is pleasing.
Defence is critical in soccer and the ability of the defenders and goal keepers to cut off goals was impressive.
There were many regular goal scorers but most pleasing there were some new goals scorers. This week it is hoped that some different boys and girls are able to score some goals.
Training continues this week on Monday nights in Cobram, Tuesday nights in Finley and Wednesday nights in Yarrawonga. Please ensure all the kids train as often as possible as this will ensure continual skill development.
