Junior netballers and footballers from across the region converged at Vic Park on Sunday for the inaugural Yarrawonga Junior Carnival.

A fantastic day was had by all with more than 300 competitors in action throughout the day and their families and supporters all enjoying the round-robin style competition.
Apart from a great day of junior sport action, the initiative raised more than $5000 to be split evenly between Yarrawonga & District Little League (football), Yarrawonga & District Netball Association, Sacred Heart Primary and Yarrawonga P-12 Primary.
The organisers offer a big thank you to the sponsors Yarrawonga Chronicle, Intersport Wingates Yarrawonga and Cobram, ClubMulwala, STF Engineering and Red Back Toilets.
Thanks also the volunteers from both schools, coaches, team mangers and the organising committee.
