Council Plan and Budget feedback

May 25, 2017

Councillors Marie Martin, Ed Cox, Wendy Buck and Mayor Gary Cleveland chat with Coral and Len Davis at last week’s session in Numurkah.

Moira Shire Councillors will be back on the road this week as they continue their program of drop in sessions to hear community feedback on Moira Shire Council’s draft 2017-2021 Council Plan and 2017/18 Budget.

“This week concludes our community drop in sessions. It’s been good to meet with members of the community to talk about their ideas for the Shire,” said Moira Shire Mayor Gary Cleveland.

“There has been a variety of feedback from new sports and recreation facilities to the repair of local roads and footpaths. Everyone’s feedback matters and helps us understand what our community expects from us,” said Mayor Cleveland.

“If you haven’t made it to a drop-in session to have your say, there is still time to join us this week in in Nathalia and Numurkah on Tuesday and Cobram and Yarrawonga (Yellow Box Room, Town Hall 6-7pm) on Thursday,” said Mayor Cleveland.

“If you can’t get to a session, you can write or email us a submission, we’d love to hear from you.”

Submissions close 5pm Thursday, June 1.
