Even though it was the first Saturday of winter, the weather was glorious at the home of the Eagles at Shepparton East.
Under 15sRennie 12 defeated by Shepparton East 20.
Quick opposition with accurate shooting made it a tough game for the girls.
They tried hard but with players in new positions and players away adjusting was a bit difficult. Good effort girls.

Under 17sRennie 34 defeated by Shepparton East 37.
The Under 17s were rattled early and never settled comfortably into their own game.
Shepp East maintained the high pressure for four quarters making it difficult for Rennie to find space, causing silly mistakes and therefore costly turnovers.
The shooters and defenders worked hard all game against quality opposition.

C ReserveRennie 44 defeated Shepparton East 35.
From the first whistle, it was a tight and even contest for both teams.
Turnovers were the focal point of the game with capitalising on them the key to winning.
With some positional changes in the second quarter, the girls were able to push out to a narrow lead by half time.
The lead was further consolidated by the team in the second half with accurate shooting and turnovers in the defensive end by the young defenders leading to a nine-goal win.

Rennie 30 defeated by Shepparton East 44.

B GradeRennie 22 defeated by Shepparton East 28.
The girls knew that we were in for another tough match against the Eagles.
The defenders worked overtime in and around the ring with Petra Williamson and Rachael Guppy supporting each other with back up on the outside from Kayla Oughton.
Half time changes saw Hannah Douglass come out of WD into centre creating great pressure and drive down the court.
Shooting combination Ebony Williams and Brooke McDougall worked hard all game to get in front and moved well through the ring with Karen Kaine providing passes into the girls.
Nada Nolen was consistent all game changing from centre to WA with ease with plenty of guidance to the shooters.
