Lions Club welcomes defib donation

June 22, 2017

Lions Club members were thrilled to receive a donation to purchase a defibrillator for the club.

The Lions Club of Yarrawonga was overwhelmed recently to receive a donation for the purchase of a defibrillator for the club.

The donation came from a friend of Lions and a lover of Yarrawonga.

Sue Durra from Melbourne offered this wonderful donation as she felt that as the Lions Club is involved in so many community functions it would benefit both members of the club and the community of Yarrawonga.

“It is one of those things you hope you do not need to use but comforting to know it is there,” Sue said.

The defibrillator will be mounted in one of the yellow trailers which are often out and about in Yarrawonga. Please feel free to visit the trailer and admire the new addition.

A vote of thanks to Ben Gray of Priority First Aid for the wonderful deal he gave the club for this product and the free demonstration and ongoing support he has offered.
