The A Reserve Boys Grand Final was played on June 26 between the Bulls and Taipans.
The Taipans jumped to an early 8 point lead due to great play from Lochie Harvey and Cooper Milbourne.
Bulls coach Craig Frauenfelder settled his side down urging them to control the ball.
Will Connell started to dominate the rebounds enabling the Bulls to reduce the margin to 1 point at half time.
The siren for half time gave both players and spectators a chance to catch their breath as this was going to be a nail-biter.
Taipans again dominated the early part of the second half playing great defence with quick ball movement and it looked like they were about to break the game wide open.
The Bulls team though again refused to wilt fighting their way back led by Cameron Lefevre and Hunter Frauenfelder to hit the front for the first time halfway through the second half.
In the final minutes both teams were throwing their bodies all over the court showing no regard for their safety.
With the score only a point in favour of the Bulls Cameron Lefevre scored with a fade away jump shot to make the final score Bulls 23 defeated Taipans 20.
Scorers for the Bulls team Cameron Lefevre 13, Hunter Frauenfelder 6, Fraser Bennett 2 and Riley Mitchell 2. Scorers for the Taipans team Cooper Milbourne 10, Lochie Harvey 6 & Benjamin Rainey 4.
Well done to both teams on an amazing game.
