Titles swapped

July 05, 2017

Last week Jake Thompson won the Victorian Under 18 Billiards Championship, defeating rival Marc Fridman from Melbourne in the final.

Jake also came runner up in the Victorian Under 18 Snooker Championship.
The two players first met last year in the finals, with the results being the opposite; talk about pressure for the poor parents.
This is Jake’s first billiards win which is different to snooker and only played with three balls.
It’s the well-known preferred game of Walter Lindrum and Bob Bellinger but Bob will have a bit of competition now.
Well done Jake, the club, all players from the ClubMulwala Snooker Club and the community are proud of you and is another state title to add to the town’s list.
