Police are appealing for public help to track down a vehicle and associated with a spate of crimes in Yarrawonga and Cobram.
The vehicle, believed to a white Toyota Camry, has been used in several crimes in Yarrawonga and Cobram in recent weeks and police believe is likely to still be in the area.
The car was involved in the attempted robbery of a car wash at the United Service Station on the Murray Valley Highway at Yarrawonga at 3.20am Thursday and then driven to Benalla Road, Yarrawonga, where thieves broke into two vehicles parked at MI & KL Davis Plastering.
More than $3000 in tools and other items was stolen from the vehicles.
Police are confident the vehicle is the same one used in robbery at the Murray Valley Highway car wash around 3.15am Monday when a large amount of cash was stolen.
It is also believed the same vehicle was used in a petrol drive-off from the Yarrawonga Caltex Service Station around 9pm on July 13.
At that time the vehicle was sporting stolen number plates with the registration UGG-289.
The same car may also be linked to a break-in at the Caltex car wash in Cobram on June 24.
Police are urging anyone who has recognises the vehicle, knows of its whereabouts or who may be driving the vehicle, to call CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000 or Cobram detectives on 0358 712 866.
