The girls hit the dancefloor for a fun dance.

The tradition of Debutante Presentation in Yarrawonga continued at the 73rd Annual Anglican Ball when 15 young ladies were formally introduced into society.

The St. Cuthbert’s 73rd Debutante Ball was held on Friday, July 7, 2017, in the wonderful setting of the Yarrawonga Town Hall.  The theme this year was “Carousel”, with a magnificent stage set constructed with original antique rocking horses.
The debutantes and their partners were presented to Fr. Michael Jones former Parish Priest of St. Cuthbert’s.  In this year’s official party were Fr. And Mrs. John Geldart and Fr. and Mrs Michael Jones.
The debutante set was led into the night by flower girl Breeanna Potter and page boy Justin Woodhead.
Master of ceremonies for the night was Mr. Russell Ingram.  The debutante set’s first dance was the Parma Waltz, followed by a fun dance The St. Cuthbert’s Mix.  These dances were preformed perfectly by the debutante set.
Trainers this year were Anna Dickie, Christine Grinter and Leanne Mickelson.
The carousel was constructed by Penny and Peter Thomas and Jenny Lawrence.  The delightful rocking horses were generously loaned by Michelle Rosmulder.
Ticketing was in the very capable hands of Debbie Wright. Keeping everything running smoothly was Janice Jones.
Special thanks to Blooms for the beautiful flowers and to Peter from the Reject Shop for some of the decorations.

The Debutante Committee would like to thank everyone who helped with this year’s Debutante Ball.
A very enjoyable evening was had by all who attended.
