Retiring President, Sue Stillard was pleased to report on a very stable and successful year, with many fund raising activities being conducted resulting in over $12,000 being donated to local, national and international charities.
Sue reported that the club has assisted the local Lions Club with several events and conducted projects of their own during the year. These include weekly chook raffles at the Ski Club, weekly breakfasts at Yarrawonga P12, regular volunteering for Meals on Wheels,  monthly afternoon teas at Warrina, annual catering for the three day Old Time Dance Weekend, annual craft displays and sponsorships at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural Show and support for the Kid’s Hope Fund.
Sue thanked her committee and all the members for their support and commitment throughout the year.  She offered best wishes to the incoming president, Jennie Dyson and said she felt sure that the club would continue to be just as strong under Jennie’s guidance.
Jennie presented Sue with a potted orchid and thanked her for her encouragement. Jennie said she was looking forward to the coming year with the club continuing to raise funds for worthwhile causes.  In particular she would like to explore the possibility of furthering the educational opportunities of children from the local schools.
District Governor Norm then thanked all the Lionesses for their valuable work during the year.  He said he was most impressed with the year’s results and that he would not give any advice other than to continue to serve the community in the same manner.  He then installed the new Committee with Jennie Dyson as President, Lorraine Dean as Vice President, Margaret Best as Secretary and Helen White as Treasurer along with other executive committee members.
He then inducted Lesley Smith as a new member.  Lesley has transferred from Endeavour Hills Lioness Club and was made most welcome by Yarrawonga members.
