A section of Belmore Street was blocked off for around half an hour on Friday afternoon after a car reversed from the centre parking crashing into a parked car, fire hydrant and small tree.

Around 2pm the elderly male occupant of a Holden Calais, reversed out of centre parking placing his foot on the accelerator instead of brake, fortunately missing pedestrians before being stopped by the hydrant.
Yarrawonga Police attended the incident along with the ambulance and tow truck services.
Nobody was injured in the accident and the occupants of the car were examined at the scene.
