Cyclist hit

On Wednesday, October 11 around 3.30pm a cyclist travelling west across Woods Roads near the intersection of Telford Street was struck by a motor vehicle that was over taking stationary vehicles on the left hand side.

The cyclist received minor injuries as a result of being struck by the vehicle.

Members from Yarrawonga Police conducted an investigation in to the collision and as a result located the offending driver and processed the offender for numerous traffic offences which will be heard in the Magistrates Court at a date to be fixed.

Speeding drivers

Numerous speeding infringements were issued over the weekend for various traffic offences including excessive speed.

Yarrawonga Police wish to remind the public that it’s an offence to possess an open liquor container while driving motor vehicle and against council bi-Laws to possess and open container in Belmore Street Yarrawonga.
