Hume and McNally intersection collision

An 81-year-old male was taken to Yarrawonga Hospital for observation last Wednesday morning after his Toyota Camry was hit by a truck at the intersection of Hume and McNally streets.

An officer from Yarrawonga Police said around 11am a truck travelling south down Hume Street failed to give way and collided with the driver’s side of the vehicle travelling west on McNally street.
Yarrawonga Police, Ambulance, SES and tow truck services all attended the scene.
The driver of the truck was uninjured and there was minor damage to the truck.
Yarrawonga Police warned motorists to be cautious when driving on local streets and to slow down and look before proceeding through intersections.
