On a warm Friday night the T20 MILO boys were back at Vic Park for another cracking night of cricket.

The Stars played the Sixers and the Thunder played the heat while the Renegades had the bye.
The Sixers defeated the Stars by 21 runs in a high scoring game.
For the Sixers Baxter made a solid 39 and also took 4 wickets while bowling.
Slater also grabbed 2 for himself.
For the Stars Maiko made 40 runs and Will made 25.
Award winners for the games were Cooper and Henry who picked up the Foodworks Award and Maiko and Kade won YMGCR awards.
In the other game the Thunder won by 30 runs with Fraser making 26 and Nash making 20 both in very good batting performances.
Fraser also picked up 3 wickets and Anna claimed a couple.
For the Heat Joel and Oliver both made 22 runs. The Heat also had every one of their team take a wicket but Atticus claimed 3 for himself.
Award winners for the Heat vs Thunder game were Anna Van Den Bosch and Nash McNamara with Foodworks and Jace and Cooper winning the YMGCR awards.

Milo Junior Cricket movie night

This coming Friday will see a huge night of junior cricket at Stan Hargreaves Oval with the YMCC putting on a Movie Night for all participants of the MILO In2Cricket & T20 Blast programs.

Following all of the fun and fast-paced action of these two popular programs, a sausage sizzle will be available. A snag in bread will be just $1 with drinks at bar prices.
The night will be finished off with a movie on the new scoreboard so make sure you bring your chairs, blankets and whatever else you need for a comfortable evening of family fun.
The night will also double as a payment evening for the T20 Blast participants.
As mentioned previously, the YMCC have subsidised the cost of the T20 Blast program this year with participants only being charged $90 instead of the regular price of $99.
In subsidising the program, this meant that online payments could not be accepted.
Thank you to the many parents who have asked about how and when to pay so far, the club thought it would be easier for all if payments were taken on the one night – which will be this coming Friday night.
The club also still have a few participant packs for both programs awaiting collection so please come and see Daryl McIntosh if you are still to collect your pack.
