Tunzafun wants volunteers

December 20, 2017

Mulwala Public School students loved being at Tunzafun.

Tunzafun Amusement Park in Mulwala will experience a busy time with tourists and locals over the Christmas/New Year period and extra volunteers are needed to help cope with the increased patronage.
“We can always do with extra volunteers over Christmas,” Tunzafun’s volunteer co-ordinator Graham Bott told the Yarrawonga Chronicle.
“We’ve lost volunteers for whatever reason including some going away on holidays themselves. And as I’ve said before, I am wanting to call it a day so we want a manager to take over from me.”
The position of Tunzafun Manager will be a paid job and Graham said there’s so much to like about Tunzafun, especially what’s underway at present.
The very popular Dodgem Cars and Crazy Cars are to be located where the train has been positioned, which will be relocated to where the Dodgem Cars are currently located.
New Little Crazy Cars - sure to be a hit with the youngies - and an eating area will be close to the relocated Dodgem Cars.
“The Dodgem Cars area will be a lot bigger - three times the size,” Graham said. “When it’s finished it will look fantastic.”
There’s plenty to like at the popular Tunzafun, with trampolines and a very interesting 18 holes of mini golf also features of the amusement park.
“To see a smile on a kid’s face makes it all worthwhile to volunteer and be part of Tunzafun,” Graham said.
The period over Christmas/New Year which will be particularly busy requiring additional volunteers is December 27 to January 30. And the paid position of manager is up for grabs. Interested persons can call in to Tunzafun or give Graham Bott a call on 0407 261 522.
