The popular Yarrawonga Waterfest will be held at the Yarrawonga Yacht Club this Saturday, January 20.
Following on from its success last year the Waterfest will feature canoeing, yachting and rowing but a new addition will be the Dragon Boat.
From 4pm-7pm you can come and try paddling a kayak, balance on an SUP (stand up paddleboard), sail a yacht, paddle the Dragon Boat or even try rowing on Lake Mulwala.
All equipment (sit on tops, paddles, life jackets etc) will be provided and activities will be supervised by Australian Canoeing accredited paddling leaders.
This is a great chance for people of all ages to try out several Olympic sports in our own backyard.
There will be 30 minute sessions and the cost is just $5 per person or just $10 per family.
The Yarrawonga Mulwala Canoe Club will also host their annual Murray River Classic Marathon event on Sunday, January 21 where many of the juniors will participate in the junior novice event.
