YMCC leading the way

Zac Fraser and Reid Clarke have attracted leadership roles in representative cricket.

The Yarrawonga Mulwala Cricket Club continues to be a productive environment with a host of players chosen in leadership roles at representative level.

From club to league to state leadership, the Lakers have recognised leaders across all grades within the senior and junior club.
The North East Knights are the region’s representative team that plays in the State Championships each and every year from Under 12’s right through to Under 21 levels.
The YMCC are proud of the follow players who have been recognised with leadership roles at state, region and club level.
Zac Fraser was named vice captain of the North East Knights Under 14 team, even though he was a bottom age player.
Will Sharp was named captain of the Under 16 North East Knights, while James Jordon was selected Captain of the Under 18 North East Knights as a bottom age player as well.
A Grade Vice Captain Reid Clarke has enjoyed a highly successful representative year.  Clarke was named vice captain of  the Under 21 North East Knights; while also being vice captain of the Wangaratta and District Cricket Association Bendigo Country Week team which won division two at the carnival.
For a small club the professionalism and work ethic of these players has been recognised with leadership roles across all forms of cricket.
On February 11th, James Irvine and Matt Casey will represent Victoria Country Under 21 in their annual clash with Victoria Metropolitan. The game will be played at Queen Elizabeth Oval in Bendigo.
