Twelfth Night triumph

February 14, 2018

The magnificent cast of the Twelfth Night production.

The audience of more than 160 sitting front and centre to the performance of Twelfth Night at the Byramine Homestead.

Shakespeare returned to the picturesque Byramine Homestead in Yarrawonga recently with the delightful comedy Twelfth Night.

Presented by Moira Arts and Culture Inc and Essential Theatre on Sunday, February 4, this unique outdoor theatre experience attracted a large and enthusiastic audience of more than 160 people who were entertained with an excellent performance.
The show also provided the regional audience with the opportunity to enjoy a live performance they may not normally experience.
A large marque and seating was set up on the lawns, with the beautiful homestead as the backdrop for the performance and weather providing more picturesque views with the sun setting during the final scene of the play.
The actors used the entire venue for the show, appearing from behind the old Elms trees, out of the doorways and corners of the verandah of the Byramine Homestead.
Guests also brought their own picnic baskets for dinner and enjoyed the range of beer, ciders and wines available from the brewery.
The MAC Inc have already commissioned the Essential Theatre Company to return next year where audiences will see them perform “A Mid-Summer Nights Dream.”
