Windy weather did not deter boating enthusiasts for the fourth Lake Mulwala Boat Muster held on Saturday.

The Boat Muster was a site to behold as all different types of craft and dressed up crews gathered for the flotilla cruise across Lake Mulwala.
The Cumberoona led the flotilla from the Mulwala Water Ski Club just after 2.30pm and cruised across Lake Mulwala before heading back to the Ski Club.
The muster finished with a boat party at the Ski Club lagoon where crew members enjoyed various fun and novelty crew challenges such as tug-a-war, slip ‘n’ slide and a horizontal bungee challenge.
The overall “Boat Muster Crew Championship Challenge” was won by the ‘Octoberfest’ crew.
Best Dressed Crew was awarded to the ‘Men at Work” crew.  The ‘Dad’s Army’ crew took out the Best Speed Boat and Best BBQ Boat was awarded to the ‘Aussie Bogans’.
The fun continued on the Ski Club’s Malibu Deck with live entertainment from popular cover band Entourage.
The Boat Muster initiative was created by Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism with the support of Mulwala Water Ski Club.
Event organiser Jared Loughnan said the event has plenty of potential and those who participated in the crew challenges and dressed up had a lot of fun.
“The unique event was created to showcase Lake Mulwala, its surroundings and the many types of boats that use it.
“A highlight of the event is the best dressed crew and novelty boats. In the past the event has featured a Gilligan’s Island Crew, The Flinstones, Addam’s Family Crew, ABBA, Superheroes, A Love Boat Crew even the Priscilla Queen of Lake Mulwala.
“This year’s event featured the Octoberfest Crew, Men At Work Crew, Dad’s Army and the Aussie Bogans.
“I would like to thank all those boat crews who dressed up, the Mulwala Water Ski Club and Yarrawonga Mulwala Tourism for getting behind and supporting this concept, the working committee, all the sponsors and the volunteers who assisted on the day.”
