The Bundalong Tavern had a joyous and successful Good Friday Appeal Family Fun Day and Market last Friday with masses of people attending and lots of money raised.
The official tally is not yet formalised but Bundalong Area Manager Keith Allen believes the amount to be around the $20,600 mark.
“We had an enormous turn out with more kids than last year which is fantastic especially being a family fun day,” Keith said.
“It was a great day with plenty of people and lots of fun.”
Everything on the day went to plan with dodgem cars, merry-go-rounds, jumping castles, pony rides, face painting and games entertained the kids while live music by Jo and the Gent, raffles, auctions, up to 50 market stalls, fun family races and a bbq with food and beverages were provided for the adults.
Keith said the day has been successful since its inception and as long as people are willing to attend and they are able to raise some much needed funds for the Royal Childrens Hospital, the Bundalong Tavern will continue to host the event.
“It is just a fun day that gets the community and tourists staying here at Easter together for a great cause,” Keith said.
“We will be back again next year hopefully even bigger and better.”
