On Tuesday, March 19 at the Mulwala Waterski Club Foreshore, The Boosey Creek Club Inc. presented four organizations 25% of their Motorbike Muster Show and Shine profit from gate takings, bbq and raffles in appreciation of the 56 sponsored prizes from NSW and Victorian businesses.
The local volunteer organizations that received a donation were supported after it was recognised that they have established a total of 116 years of service to their communities.
Corowa Rescue Squad President Jim Walliss celebratied 40 years, Friends In Common Yarrawonga Co-Ordinator Bill Mitchell of helped with transport for Mulwala Yarrawonga locals to health service for 12 years,Cobram State Emergency Service Leader John Stavia started operation in 1986 with local content by John Elphinstone and Barooga Little Athletics represented by Hazel McDiarmid a committee member since 2011 with the club established in October 1988.The Motorbike Muster attracted over 500 public and 200 motorcyclists this year and is held on the last Sunday of February each year.
