In reply the Lakers bowled tightly, and the game was evenly poised before and acceleration from Rovers Bruck saw them reach 5 for 141 in the 31st over. 

Wicket takers were Rod Peters with two, Jason Sharp with one and Dave True with one.

It was a great season for the Lakers who introduced many Under 16 and Under 14 players to senior cricket and that experience will hold the players in good stead for the future cricket in Yarrawonga Mulwala.
