Runner Up with 31pts were Noel Owen – Judi Cummins – Lyn Ryna.
Third with 20pts were John Ellis – Anne McKain – Kay Ellis.
Thursday, July 26 – Winners with 34pts were Anne McKain – Judi Cummins – Jill Carr.
Runner Up with 31pts were Reg Bryce – Barb Eberle – Lyn Ryan.
Third with 21 pts were Marna Tomlinson – Annie King – Sue Stillard – Dot Shanks.
A notice to all members, the AGM will be held on Thursday, August 1 at 3 o’clock. A full attendance would be appreciated.
It was great to see Bev Tinsdale and Joyce Torpy back after a lengthy absence.

A mixed bag for the bowls this week with numbers on Tuesday remaining consistent but
Sunday numbers down.
Social:
Tuesday, July 23 again saw good numbers with some very close games played.
Winners on the day were Graeme Arnold and visitor Brian O’Keefe. Runners up were Jack Jarden and Anita Albert.
The jackpot did not go off.
Remember social bowls are on each Tuesday at 12.30, (please try and be in attendance and paid up by 12.15).
Sheets are on the notice board behind the escalators, format will always be determined by the number of bowlers on the day.
Visitors and single entries are always welcome.
Sunday, July 28 on a fine day, numbers were down with not enough players present for 2-4-2. Triples and pairs were played, winners on the day were Harry Watts and Jason Milich.
Runners up Peter Humphreys, Cliff Morton, and John Thurling.
The hot chips provided after the games went down well, thanks to Helen for arranging them.
Sheet is on the board for next week, remember bowls begin at 12.30, names in by 11.00am please.
2-4-2 nominate your team, however single entries are also accepted.
Pennant - We know the season is still a long way away, however forward planning is underway. Lists are on the board for those members wishing to play pennant to put their names down.
We could still do with some more names for Saturday pennant, please let us know if you are available.
YMGCR Bowls
Wednesday, July 24 – 36 bowlers played 3 bowl pairs.
Winners were Ray Brown and Norm Windebank with + 18. Runners up were Greg Green and Betty Richmond with + 9. Jackpot of $150 was not claimed.
On sunny Sunday, July 28 – 16 bowlers played 2x4x2.
Winners were Betty Richmond and Bob Brockenshire with + 9. Runners up were Les Spencer and Barb Tennyson with + 17. Jackpot of $48 not claimed.

Yarrawonga Bowls
Well, we are about to go into the last month of Winter and before you know it, the opening day will be upon us and pennant will be here.
More players and emergencies are needed for pennant, so if you haven’t already got your name down, please put it down so the selectors can see that we can fill the teams and how many.
This has to be done early, well before pennant starts.
We have been lucky enough with the weather to still play Social Bowls.
We are not getting big numbers of course, but the ones that come along each week to support us are enjoying the bowling and social interaction.
Social Bowls: Monday July 22 - Winners – B Batty and A Tomlinson. Runners Up – E Edwards and M Reilly.
The Jackpot was claimed by P Humphries and B Norwood.
Wednesday July 24 - Winners – R Butler, R Neilson, E Murdoch and R Jeffcott. Runners Up – V Kennedy, F Liberg, M Essex and E Edwards.
The Jackpot was not claimed and will be carried forward to next Wednesday.
Saturday July 27 - Winners – J Ellis, B Irvine and B Batty. Runners Up - E Edwards, R Neilson and S Maddox.
The Jackpot was not claimed and will be carried forward to next Saturday.

All these games start at 12.30pm and names need to be down by 11am on the day.
