Yarrawonga Open Women football team took on Lavington Panthers at Lavington in their second match of the year after a bye.

The girls hit the scoreboard fast in the first quarter with good and fast ball movement out of the centre where Hayley Durnford finished off with a goal.

Lavington come back hard fighting, the girls had some good runs and plays but fatigue got the best of them with no rotations and a pretty warm day.

With some more match play practices and trainings and hopefully a few more bodies back from injury the girls will keep improving.

Next weekend off for Easter and April 28 another away game they take on Alpine Lions.
