From the first bounce the ladies went out hard, hitting every tackle and contest hard not giving Rovers the chance to make a break.
The ball being locked down in the Yarra forward 50 for the first few minutes looking like an early goal, the Rovers made a break to score the first goal.
Soon after that Yarrawonga answered with their first goal of the match and then shortly after a second one.
As the match went on the determination and fight kept growing and growing.
The girls went into half time with the lead.
In the third quarter Rovers tried to make a comeback but the Pigeons girls worked hard together to stop them in their tracks.
In the last quarter the girls from both teams were feeling the effects from a hard fought footy match.
Rovers hit the lead for a little bit but the Pigeons came back with some fast hard goals.
The Yarrawonga girls pushed themselves very hard to make sure to shut down the determined Rovers.
Great win by Yarrawonga, who just keep improving and improving each week, keep up the amazing work.
