The winners in the individual divisions were Wendy Dickson - 1st Division Golf Croquet, Cheryl O’Dwyer - 2nd Division Golf Croquet, Judy Ryan - 3rd Division Golf Croquet and Heather Oliver - 4th Division Golf Croquet.
In addition, Cheryl O’Dwyer won the 3rd Division Association Croquet and the Medal of Medals.
The team winners were “The Hopefuls” with congratulations going to Hope Attril, Christine Lloyd, Nancy Brooks, Shirley Scibberas and Gwen Smith.
Club Captain Barb Haigh was pleased with the club’s progress during 2018-19.
“Whilst we may play different levels of competition over the year, one of the main events of the club calendar is our Annual Club Championships,” Barb said.
“Played over the month of March, it gives our members the opportunity to compete at their own level. With the introduction of a 4th division in 2019, our members had a much broader scope and we were delighted to see 30 members competing across all divisions this year.”
Monthly Medal: This competition is played at the club on the first Thursday of each month and the winner for June was Cheryl O’Dwyer and the runner up was Nancy Brooks.
Although the weather was cooler, all sessions of play were very well attended this week.
