B Grade
Mulwala 43 defeated by Numurkah 47.
The girls were going in with only half the squad this week, which opened up a great opportunity for the under 17s to step up and help fill the side - with Mikayla Woosnam, Polly McRae and Chloe Burgess stepping up.
These girls fitted into the team nicely. But as they had already played full games before it was hard for them to run out a full game in seniors, but they did amazing.
Unfortunately the Lions didn’t get a great start down by 7 in the first quarter. The girls kept fighting hard to bring it back to 1 goal in the last, but it just slipped away in the end.

The team worked extremely well to convert goals throughout the game, with lots of girls getting a chance to shoot. Their defence was terrific with hands over the ball and making space to move the ball down the court. Terrific game girls.
