Upgrade to facilities

The toilet block and changing facilities adjoining the splash park and all abilities playground along the Yarrawonga foreshore will see an upgrade in coming months.

Moira Shire Council invited submissions from suitably qualified organisations or individuals for the construction of the public toilet block including a changing places facility in Bank Street, Yarrawonga.

This project will see an extension to the existing toilet block to accommodate new public toilets, a changing places facility and pumping equipment for the nearby council owned splash park.

The Moira Shire Council June Ordinary Meeting agenda states the scope of works under the contract awarded to Kennedy Builders will include:

Supply and installation of pier and beam footings including a suspended concrete slab.

Construction of the brick building envelope with metal roof and covered area.

Fit out of the public toilets, Changing Places Facility and pump room as specified

Supply and installation of utility services including water, sewer, electricity and solar panels.

Basic landscaping at completion.

Council will also supply and install the existing splash park pumping equipment and associated infrastructure in the pump room.
