In the final round, the Lakers chased down Wangaratta Magpies 104 runs, going on to post 280.
Ben Irvine continued his good form with 58 runs; before the Lakers fell to 5 for 62.
Corey McIntosh steadied the ship with 58 runs while number 9 batsman Brendan Lewis unleashed scoring 86 runs.
McIntosh and Lewis shared a 95-run partnership while Brock McCabe with 28 runs added 49 runs with Lewis.
McCabe and Will Sharp scored a final wicket partnership of 32 runs to post 280 in a great lead into finals.
The Lakers will host Ovens Valley at Stan Hargreaves Oval this Saturday and Sunday in the semi-final; with the winner advancing to the Grand Final.
