Captain James Sicily and fellow star Dylan Moore will come under video review for separate incidents involving Port's Logan Evans in the third term of the 13.11 (89) to 13.8 (86) twilight win on Saturday at Marvel Stadium.
Sicily and Moore gave away free kicks for gut punches off the ball.
Asked if the Hawks had anything to worry about ahead of next Saturday's Anzac Day clash against Gold Coast in Launceston, coach Sam Mitchell said "I haven't seen it (the incidents) and I hope not."
Power key forward Mitch Georgiades missed a set shot with a minute left and it was the last score of the game.
"We put our arms around him. He gave us a chance to win," Port coach Josh Carr said.
"In the end, it didn't turn his way, but he'll get another opportunity."
While it was Hawthorn's fifth-straight win, the Power were outstanding after a terrible start in the first quarter.
Despite roaring back with six goals to two behind in the second term, Carr said he was "disappointed" with the loss.
Smarting from his tribunal hearing this week, Port acting captain Zak Butters was best afield with 35 possessions.
Butters was referred to the tribunal and found guilty of umpire abuse, with an appeal hearing to be held on Monday.
"As a football club, we're super-proud of him," Carr said.
"It's obviously been a huge week for him and then to come out and play the footy he did ... him being out on the field allows him to move on and do his best work."
Fellow Power midfielder Jason Horne-Francis also starred, while Hawks small forward Nick Watson kicked a career-best five goals.
Hawthorn debutant Will McCabe kicked his first AFL goal midway through the last quarter - a massive effort from 50m, on an acute angle - to tie the scores.
"Everyone remembers their first goal, but I think everyone will remember his - it was at an absolutely vital moment in the game," Mitchell said.
A dubious free kick then set up Mitch Lewis for the goal that put the Hawks in front. Lewis was oustanding in the final term and Mitchell wondered if they would have won without him.
With Mabior Chol injured and Jack Gunston managed, the Hawks had to re-cast their attack and Calsher Dear made a successful return.
Midfielder Massimo D'Ambrosio and defender Jarman Impey were also prominent as the Hawks were left relieved with the win.
"After you get a big lead and you give it up so quickly, you lose complete control of the game," Mitchell said of being 26 points up at quarter time and nine points behind at the main break.
"We had done enough, early enough, to get the win, but it could easily have been one where we were on the other side of the ledger."
Watson had a finger injury in the last quarter, while Port midfielder Ollie Wines also went off with a corked thigh. They are expected to be available next week.
