The Deniliquin Rovers A-Grade side had a week off this week, with Yarroweyah unable to field a senior side this season.

Today we came up against a very determined Yarroweyah, who kept us on our toes for all four quarters.
Although we were missing a few regulars, juniors Elena Mulham, Makayla Finn and Holly Amor capably filled in seamlessly.
Brittany Kirby was a powerhouse all over the court, directing play with a clear voice.
Georgia van Lieshout was challenged by her persistent Yarroweyah opponent but with lots of drive and fast ball combinations, our shooting team came out on top.
A good solid team performance saw Rovers come away with a comfortable win.

Deni took the win today, despite having some big changes to our line up and trialling some different combinations.
Strong defensive pressure all over the court helped to extend our lead.

Saturday presented a change of pace for the girls.
The game provided a good opportunity to practice set passages of play and refine leading skills.
All players contributed to a strong four quarters of netball. which led to a great win.
Today the girls came out firing against a very young Yarroweyah side.
They put in consistent effort for all six quarters.
The Aria & Harper award went to Aleaha Leetham for fantastic intercepts and determination.
The McDonald’s award went to Ava Braybon for consistent effort in varied positions, and the Subway award went to Isabelle Didcock for persistence in the goal ring.
