From 9.30am to 4pm, the event will feature an enchanting array of doll stalls, nostalgic old toys, cuddly bears, and unique craft items.
Sisters Liz Baxter and Kath Walsh, passionate collectors and talented doll designers, have lovingly organised this show to support and give back to the community.
“We took over the doll show about 23 years ago, running to give something back to the community,” Echuca Doll Club member Liz Baxter said.
Visitors will be amazed by the incredible variety of dolls on display, from charming vintage and delicate porcelain dolls to stunningly lifelike newborn dolls crafted from innovative vinyl-like materials.
“They are even using newborn dolls like this now in the movies instead of real babies,” Liz said.
“They are also used in age-care homes, as nursing them gives the residents comfort.”
Admission prices are $6 for adults, $5 concession, $2 for children, and free for those under six.
In a heartwarming gesture of community support, all profits from this delightful event will be generously donated to local charities, continuing the tradition set last year when funds were given to the Food Bank at the Echuca Neighbourhood House.
In addition to the wide range of dolls and bears on display, there are doll stalls, old toys and craft items.
The organisers have also planned a kiddies’ corner in the competition room, allowing children to interact with toys and newborn dolls.
