Echuca Moama Steam Iron and Trade Revival
Showcasing Australia’s rich history and traditions, the event highlights the machinery, vehicles and trades that built our nation.
Reflect on the skills and passion of the people who toil in the spirit of yesteryear.
A vast array of mobile steam engines, portable steam and vintage machinery, both operational and on display.
This will include the Echuca Vintage Machinery Club steaming its engines, working horses from the Commonwealth Clydesdale Horse Society Australia, Echuca Historic Vehicle Club running a show and shine on Saturday, Echuca Model Railway Club opening its doors, a blacksmith and a traditional wood sleeper cutter.
For the kids, there is face painting, an animal nursery and miniature railway rides.
There will be a vast array of food, including scones, the camp kitchen and Revival hub food trucks and drinks.

Steamrail Victoria
Preserving Victoria’s railway heritage, Steamrail Victoria will run steamings on Saturday, June 7, including an Echuca Overlander trip from Bendigo to Echuca return and 55-minute return rides from Echuca toward Rochester.
The Echuca Overlander trip leaves Bendigo Station at 9.30am for a 1.5-hour journey to Echuca, behind steam locomotive R711 and vintage diesel locomotive S301.
You will step off at Echuca and will have the day to explore the historic river town and port before leaving Echuca at 4.35pm, returning to Bendigo at 6.10pm.
During the day, 55-minute steam train rides will depart from Echuca and run 21km south along the Campaspe Plains towards Rochester to the 229km post from Melbourne.
Take a seat in the heritage-style compartment carriages with beautiful wood veneer panelling, pressed tin ceilings, and opening windows to fully experience the steam era.
