Ripple Fest isn’t just an event.
It is a chance to engage, create, and connect with a community of artists and art lovers alike.
With immersive experiences and a fusion of nature, art, and culture, this celebration will leave you inspired and yearning for more.
Hopefully, it will become a regular feature of Campaspe Shire’s artistic calendar.
The program was conceived by codesign groups in Rochester and Echuca which were composed of a diverse group of interested people.
Creative producer Greg Pritchard’s role is to bring their ideas to fruition.
Ideas include, in Echuca, a Bangara Rekindling performance, a community event in the Aquatic Reserve, a lighting event at the Port, a Youth Art Project at the Foundry; and in Rochester, projections, a costume ball and skate park activation.
There will be workshops in the lead-up to and during the festival, and the Ripple Fest team will host artists in residence in the old Pumphouse.
There will also be a Creative Recovery symposium at Rochester on Thursday, May 22.
There are still many opportunities to be involved, so keep an eye on the website and socials for call-outs.
Ripple Fest runs from May 21 to 25 in Echuca and Rochester.
