The Country Women’s Association Tallygaroopna branch hosted its annual Christmas gingerbread house decorating night on Wednesday, December 3.
Just over 30 people filled the Tallygaroopna Memorial Hall to decorate gingerbread houses made by the team at Numurkah Bakery.
Sweets were used to decorate the houses, with Smarties, sour straps and candy canes among the favourites.
With Christmas music filling the air, it was the perfect opportunity for attendees to chat while decorating their edible goods.
The event aimed to promote the CWA and encourage new members to join, as the small branch is always keen for new people to join.
The gingerbread house decorating night was the group’s last event for the year, and its first meeting back will be in February 2026.
