LAST Saturday’s Goulburn Murray Cricket round was called off due to the association’s heat policy but will still be played because of a precedent set earlier in the season.
A washed-out round on November 3 was transferred and played on Sunday, December 22.
At the moment Sunday, February 23 — the day after the final home-and-away round — has been slotted in for last Saturday’s scheduled round to be played.
But GMC chairman Jason Turner said this date was subject to being changed as it clashed with junior finals.
‘‘We’ll probably have to look another date a bit earlier,’’ he said.
Kyabram Fire Brigade versus Rochester this Saturday

Cooma meets the improving Echuca South in a danger game while third-placed Tongala takes on bottom side BLU.
Echuca and Moama shape up in the remaining game.
