Australia's most advanced military aircraft will go on display at the 2019 Edinburgh Air Show in Adelaide's north.
The two-day event at the city's RAAF base kicks off on Saturday and will feature aircraft such as the new P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol planes and the FA-18 Hornet jet fighters.
"The air show is a rare opportunity for the public to experience ADF aircraft capability first hand and meet the people who operate them," Defence Minister Linda Reynolds said.
"RAAF Base Edinburgh is vital to Australia's military intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and electronic warfare capabilities."
The air show will also feature a special program for school students looking towards careers in science, technology and engineering.
Students in years 8, 9 and 10 from 38 schools have registered and will take part in a range of activities including drone racing, flight simulator training, rocket experiments and an augmented reality experience.
