One man has died and two other people have been injured following a stabbing in northern NSW overnight.

Police were called to a house on McKenzie Street, Lismore about 11.10pm on Friday following a concern for welfare.
Upon arrival, officers found three people – two men aged 24 and 60, and a woman aged in her 30s – suffering stab wounds.
The younger man died at the scene, despite the efforts of emergency services
The older man and woman were taken to Lismore Base Hospital.
The older man was in a stable condition with a laceration to his neck.
The woman was in a stable condition with a laceration to her arm.
All three people were known to each other.
Richmond Police District officers established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
