With the summer school holidays in full swing, and social media on the out, there’s no reason for kids to be bored these holidays. Here’s 10 fun things to keep the kids entertained with healthy fun.

A day of fun and excitement for the ski club’s annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, January 24 from 12.30pm.
Packed with activities and entertainment for all ages, it’s a must-do event.
Free face painting, jumping castle, camel rides, mini carousel, glitter tattoos, balloon figures, water slide, bumper boats, rock-climbing wall and slot cars, there is something for everyone.
Plus shows by Airtime Freestyle Moto X, Australian Zoo Animals, Remote Control Model Boats, Razor the Raptor, Ski Demo’s / Expression Session and Laser Light and Sound Show
It is a fabulous, fun day on the foreshore. This is a fully catered event, so no BYO or eskies.
Relax on the grassed Ski Club foreshore as world-class show skiers perform breathtaking stunts, from flips and jumps to lifts and pyramids.

Tunzafun
Tunzafun offers all age groups a day of fun, challenge and enjoyment.
Tunzafun is a not-for-profit, volunteer run, community owned fun park in Mulwala.
BBQ facilities are available and a kiosk with drinks and ice creams. All profits are used to improve the park for locals and visitors.
The park boasts and 18-hole Mini Golf Course – a great challenge with lake and water sports theme, recently rebuilt fast and great fun Dodgem cars, Krazy Kars, Tea Cup Ride, UFO Ride, Motor Car Racing, Carousel and train.
YarraGolf cinema
Yarra Golf Cinema combines a fully licensed lounge bar, with a state-of-the-art blockbuster movie experience.
It’s the ultimate luxury cinema experience. Furnished with 46 plush leather recliner seats with individual tray tables, 14 plush leather non-reclining chairs, 3D capability screen, state of the art projector and digital sound system all at a very low price.
The cinema snack and drinks bar is open 30 minutes prior to the movie start.
Cinema tickets are available online for just $15, or via reception for $17.

Yarrawonga Splash Park
Enjoy some lakeside family fun.
Yarrawonga Splash Park is a delightful spot for families, perfectly positioned beside Lake Mulwala. This charming park offers a variety of water features, including playful spray fountains and ideal for children of all ages and right next to the Yarrawonga foreshore swimming enclosure.
Bring a picnic lunch or fire up one of the many free BBQs on the foreshore and bring your chairs, unwind under the shade of the tree, and watch as the little ones create lasting memories in this splash park.
Family fun zone at YarraGolf
The Family Fun Zone at YarraGolf is a great place to keep the kids entertained.
The club offers a free interactive play area, with TVs and colouring-in activities suited for two to eight-year-olds, plus gaming consoles for the older kids.
The zone is fitted with booth style seating perfect for family dinners and a space parents can enjoy a coffee and cake while watching the kids.
The Indoor Golf Simulator is great for the older kids and brings state-of-the-art technology and realistic gameplay to golfers of all levels. Whether you’re looking to challenge your mates in a friendly competition or sharpen your skills in air-conditioned comfort, the simulator will transport you to some of the world’s best golf courses.
Purtle Park – All abilities playground
Head to Purtle Park Adventure Playground on the banks of Lake Mulwala for an outing the whole family can enjoy. The family-friendly park contains a free-standing all-abilities play system with attractive modern designs, overlooking the water.
The park encourages risk-taking and problem solving for older children, with sky cabins and swaying walkways five metres above the ground. The toddler play area, fenced play area, water and vertical play areas, a basket swing, the pelican nest and a flying fox are among the many fun attractions to be found at the park. Pack a picnic or make use of the undercover barbecue facilities.
Mulwala Foreshore Swimming Pool
The Mulwala Foreshore Swimming Pool offers the experience of swimming in Lake Mulwala, yet provides safety barriers from nearby watercraft.
This Olympic sized pool follows a similar concept to many sea baths, but uses the fresh water of the Murray River. Located on the foreshore in Mulwala, the lush, grassed areas and nearby picnic spot make it a great location for an easy family picnic under the trees.
Frank Keenan Reserve Park Run
Kids can take part in a free, fun, and friendly weekly five-kilometre community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate, it's up to you.
Held every Saturday morning from 8am the event takes place at Frank Keenan Reserve, from the corner of River Road and Witt St. Come along and join in whatever your pace.

ClubMulwala Summer Holiday fun
ClubMulwala has great activities available with many of them free to suit the whole family, so join in for lots of fun over the school holidays.
Some of these activities include Junior Talent Quest, magic shows with the Hipster Trickster, dance workshops with Jungle City Projects, adults/family beginner dance workshop, kids disco, family line dancing, family bingo and family trivia.

Boom netting on Paradise Queen
A local family owned 'all weather' cruise boat operating cruises on Lake Mulwala and the Mighty Murray River at Yarrawonga, bring the whole family and come aboard to explore Lake Mulwala.
