One of the most loved aspects of the Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural show is the Gary Stacey Dog Jump which will be well watched and entered this year.
Everyone is welcome to bring their dog along to enter the very entertaining event.
Small and large dog jumps will be available to cater for all size dogs so bring your pooch along and see them jump for the stars.
This year will also see the traditional showgirl categories with the special addition of the open Mother and Daughter Class, back once again.
The Showgirl competition is a staple of rural agricultural shows and for 57 years has been synonymous with future female leaders in country towns across the state.
The tradition lives on for many young girls with organisers hoping there will be a great number of entries to compliment previous years.
Two judges will be joining proceedings with a good mix of views from both city and country to accompany the judging.
On the other side the tractor pull will commence from 12pm onwards, with a short break for the grand parade.
The tractor pull and vintage engine display will see a slow tractor race, working displays of vintage machinery, display tractors, the obvious vintage engines and tractor pull and much, much more.
The open class with stationary engine display/ working engine display or any old farming plant and equipment will be the feature with some local competitors returning as well as new competitors trying their strength.
There will be also room in the display for anyone to show vintage tools and collections of their own.
Sites are still available for any local businesses wanting to set up a stand and showcase their business as well as the school colouring in competitions and the exciting scarecrow competition both underway in preparation for the big day.
Make sure to make your way to the showgrounds on Saturday, October 5 to witness this year’s Miss Showgirl, Tractor Pull, dog jump and many other exciting events at the 2019 Yarrawonga Mulwala Agricultural Show.
