With a range of roles available including customer service and shop presentation, residents are encouraged to join the local team and help Vinnies continue doing good work in the Mulwala community.
Volunteering requires people to donate a few hours of their time each week to help with the day-to-day running of the store.
“We have been able to make a really positive impact on those who have visited our shop and those who have volunteered with us since opening back in April,” said Area Manager Guy Rowe.
“Over the past six months we have built a small, but hardworking team of volunteers. We would love for people to give a few hours of their time to help us do more good work for the people of Mulwala.”
Vinnies has been supporting people through times of hardship and disadvantage for well over a century.
With 237 shops located across New South Wales, people can shop in the knowledge funds generated will be used to assist tens of thousands of people find a safe place to sleep, put food on the table, keep their electricity connected, and get their lives back on track.
