It was like his football days up high for marks according to electrician Nick Purtle when he was high up the ladder erecting Christmas decorations to electricity poles in Mulwala’s main street on Monday.
Mulwala Progress Association was putting up the decorations under the guidance of association president Robert (Possum) Purtle OAM.
“I say a big thank you to Helen (Purtle), Jan Hamson and Shirley Larkin – they were the main organisers,” he said.
“As always, we want to see Mulwala into the spirit of Christmas and these decorations give the town that bit of lift.”
