Police in the Moira Shire area are investigating a number of high-end boat thefts that have occurred recently in locations in Bundalong and Yarrawonga-Mulwala.

Two thefts of Malibu boats valued at over $100,000 each stolen in the last two days at Bundalong have sparked further alarm for local residents and police.
One boat, a Malibu Wakesetter VTX, was stolen this week from a residence in Lakeside Drive, Bundalong and is believed to be owned by professional racing driver Mark "Frosty" Winterbottom.
The very next day a 2016 Malibu Wakesetter VTX was also stolen overnight from a residence on Graham Avenue in Bundalong.
Police are advising members of the community and boat owners to be aware and vigilant in securing their boats and assets.
In particular, police are warning residents who store their boats on premises that are holiday homes or rental holiday properties that are not inhabited full time to take further measures in securing their assets.
Police are still investigating the theft of a Malibu 2014 Wakesetter 22VLX and 2019 white Malibu VLX stolen from rental properties in Melbourne Street, Mulwala in the early hours of January 27.
