Kyllie is 25 years old and recently married to Nathaniel Hendy and they also have a 13-month-old son Odin.
The Lions Club originally planned their 3rd annual Barefoot Bowls fundraising night, however due to rain it was changed to a trivia night.
The night was an enormous success with 79 in attendance. As Kyllie is quite unwell at the moment she could not attend, however she was able to take part in a skype call.
Nathaniel, Odin and many family and friends of both the Paterson’s and Hendy’s were in attendance, as well as Lions members from Yarrawonga, Cobram, Tungamah and Katamatite.
There were also Golf Club staff in attendance.
“We were very pleased to raise $1013.20 from the night. Everyone had a fun and entertaining night and there were plenty of laugh’s during the Fair Dinkum Bullshit segment,” Katamatite Lions member Rob Peachey said.
“The Katamatite Lions Club would like to thank the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club not only for their support and a great venue, but also for the generous donations of vouchers, wines and merchandise that was given away as prizes.”
Kyllie also had a few words to add:
“I would just like to thank everyone who organised this barefoot bowls / trivia night to help myself and my family,” she said.
“The money that was raised for us has been put towards Nathaniel and my wedding, without all your support and generosity we wouldn’t have been able to make this all happen.
“There are not enough words for us to say thank you.”
