A great community support initiative ‘Yarra Golf Cares’ has been launched by Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort.

Yarra Golf Cares aims to support the local Yarrawonga and Mulwala communities through activities, sponsorships and donations.

“To kick start the program, our kitchen team, led by Executive Chef Paul Cohen, has been preparing special food packages for the Moira FoodShare and Yarrawonga Neighbourhood House for appropriate distribution,” acting CEO Peter Savy said.

“These small acts of kindness represent the first step in an evolving program that aims to bring goodwill and community spirit to those most in need.”

Member of the YMGCR since 1960, Colin Campbell, received some beautifully made Anzac biscuits.

“It was very thoughtful. I was quite surprised!” the former shire engineer with the former Tungamah Shire Council who turns 90-years-of-age on Australia Day 2021 said.
