A red Holden ute parked in Cahill Court, Yarrawonga was set on fire 8.30pm on Monday, November 4. Members of the Yarrawonga CFA attended a quickly extinguished the fire.
Known assault
A 23-year-old male was assaulted at the Yacht Club carpark River Road, Yarrawonga, by persons known to him at approximately 10.50pm on Monday, November 4.
Two Yarrawonga males have been charged in relation to the assault.
Car torching
A red Ford sedan parked at the Yarrawonga Yacht Club, was set on fire at approximately 2.30pm on Tuesday, November 5. Members of the Yarrawonga CFA attended a quickly extinguished the fire.
Shed fire on Sunset
Yarrawonga CFA, Tungamah CFA and Mulwala Fire Brigades responded to a shed fire in Sunset Court, Yarrawonga at about 10am last Saturday, November 16. Upon arrival crews found the shed well alight. The fire was eventually extinguished with the shed and its contents being completely destroyed. Initial investigations concerning the cause indicates the fire originated from a car stored in the shed. The fire quickly spread from the car igniting the other contents in the shed which included two cars, a boat and other house hold items. The fire appears to be accidental and is not being treated as suspicious.
